{"id":14987,"date":"2016-07-06T14:31:44","date_gmt":"2016-07-06T19:31:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mg.aces.edu\/chilton\/?p=14987"},"modified":"2016-08-31T19:57:46","modified_gmt":"2016-09-01T00:57:46","slug":"peach-upside-bundt-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/mg.aces.edu\/chilton\/peach-upside-bundt-cake\/","title":{"rendered":"Peach Upside Down Bundt Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img class=\"size-medium wp-image-14962 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/mg.aces.edu\/chilton\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/84\/2016\/06\/001-facebook_cover-1-725x269.jpg\" alt=\"winner of Peach Cook off\" width=\"725\" height=\"269\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Master Gardener Sarah Saunders used this recipe to win the recent Chilton County Peach Cookoff.<\/h4>\n<p>3 c. fresh Chilton County peaches, peeled and sliced in equal pieces<br \/>\n1 c. brown sugar<br \/>\n1\/4 c. butter, melted<br \/>\n1\/2 c. butter, softened<br \/>\n1 1\/2 c. granulated sugar<br \/>\n3 eggs<br \/>\n1\/2 c. sour cream<br \/>\n2 t. vanilla extract<br \/>\n1\/8 t. baking soda<br \/>\n1 1\/2 c. all purpose flour<br \/>\nMaraschino cherries for top, if desired<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Spray a Bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place melted butter in the bottom of the pan and swirl to cover bottom. Sprinkle in brown sugar over the butter. Place sliced peaches on top of the brown sugar using the design of the pan to space them. Maraschino cherries are placed between peaches. \u00a0This will be the design when turned out of the pan.
