{"id":16277,"date":"2017-03-26T19:19:07","date_gmt":"2017-03-27T00:19:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mg.aces.edu\/chilton\/?p=16277"},"modified":"2017-03-26T20:09:06","modified_gmt":"2017-03-27T01:09:06","slug":"long-grain-wild-rice-chicken-casserole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/mg.aces.edu\/chilton\/long-grain-wild-rice-chicken-casserole\/","title":{"rendered":"Long Grain and Wild Rice Chicken Casserole"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>This chicken casserole was a favorite at our Master Gardener Intern Class lunch.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 medium chicken, cooked, deboned, and shredded<br \/>\n1 can French style green beans, drained<br \/>\n1 can shoepeg corn, drained<br \/>\n1 can diced water chesnuts, drained<br \/>\n1 can cream of celery soup<br \/>\n1 can cream of mushroom soup<br \/>\n1 small onion, chopped<br \/>\n1 \u00a08 oz. carton sour cream<br \/>\n1 box Uncle Ben&#8217;s Original Long Grain &amp; Wild Rice, cooked &amp; drained<br \/>\n1 package Ritz crackers, crushed<br \/>\n1 \u00a012 oz. package Swiss cheese*, shredded<br \/>\n1 stick butter<\/p>\n<p>Mix chicken, green beans, corn, water chestnuts, celery soup, mushroom soup, chopped onion, sour cream, and rice. Coat a 9&#215;13 casserole dish with cooking spray. Pour half of mixture into dish and top with half of shredded cheese. \u00a0Add remaining mixture and top with rest of cheese. Melt butter and mix well with Ritz crackers, sprinkle over top of casserole.
