Over the last couple of years, several folks, including many teachers, have inquired about the possibility of having a summer Master Gardener class. Typically, the spring class is held once per week for 14 weeks. To accommodate schedules, a summer class will be held twice a week for seven weeks at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Classes will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:30 a.m.—2:30 p.m., beginning on Tuesday, June 9th and ending on Thursday, July 31st. For more information, please contact Regional Extension Agent, Bethany O’Rear by phone at (205) 879-6964 x15. Please note that a minimum of 10 applicants is required in order to offer the course. The maximum class size is 40.
